TENCEL™ Lyocell is a regenerated cellulose fiber made by a clean process which causes less effluent problems and less pollution than the process of making generic viscose rayon.

 Few chemicals are used, and water are almost recycled, which makes the process economically favourable: so much so that its process received an Award from the European Commission in the category “The Technology Award for Sustainable Development”.
Its fibers are biodegradable and made from eucalyptus wood pulp that comes from sustainably managed forests.
