On October 18, 2024, Stellini Textile Srl celebrated a significant milestone: 28 years of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification. An event that underscores our ongoing commitment to certified production and a safe and durable end product.
The occasion was held at Malpensafiere, during the conference “Certifications and Digital Solutions for the Green Transition,” organized by Centrocot S.p.A. as part of the ZDHC Solutions Roadshow 2024.
The event at Malpensafiere was attended by more than 200 Italian companies from the textile industry, who gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to sustainability and digital transition. In particular, the topic of transparent certifications, such as OEKO-TEX®, smart management of chemicals, and new platforms in the industry for managing certifications for ESG sustainability in the textile industry were explored. Shortly after several companies and associations spoke, a special award was presented to Michelangelo Pistoletto, a renowned artist and symbol of the integration of art and sustainability. The presence of territorial Confindustries and the Lombardy Region also underscored the importance of collaboration between institutions and businesses to strengthen the growth of the Italian textile sector. Indeed, it was celebrated that 70 percent of the awarded companies come from Lombardy region, where the company is established.
During the ceremony, Stellini Textile was honored for its 28 years of fidelity to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The award was collected by Giulia Stellini, testifying to our commitment to carrying on the values of a historic intergenerational company. The event concluded with a networking aperitif, offering participating companies a valuable opportunity for sharing and discussion. For Stellini Textile, it was a time of celebration, but also a time to reflect on the future.
