Sustainable Fabrics
With the global focus increasingly shifting towards environmental conservation and responsible practices, Stellini recognizes the urgent need to adapt and evolve. As such, the fabric manufacturer company is actively taking steps to ensure that its operations, products, and processes are in harmony with the latest standards – providing mattress fabrics and accessories with less environmental impact.
Saving water and energy in our production process
Our spinning mill uses energy from renewable sources such as solar energy and the production process is optimised to recycle the water used, thus avoiding waste of resources in production.
Recently we installed 1,020 solar panels to use clean energy for our yarn production.
The system, located in our Italian factory, is allowing us to optimise our energy consumption.
The project was financed with resources from the Lombardy Region’s Development and Cohesion Plan.
Textile waste disposal
Minimize the environmental footprint throughout every stage of the operations
Stellini is deeply committed to minimizing its environmental footprint throughout every stage of its operations, including the management of textile waste. Recognizing the importance of responsible waste management in achieving sustainability goals, Stellini has implemented a comprehensive program to collect and repurpose textile waste generated during its production processes.
Textile waste from production is collected and distributed to companies that reuse it as raw material in their business.

The company seeks to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and collectively drive progress towards a more sustainable future the textile industry. We are partner with initiatives and suppliers that firmly believe that the textile industry can make a difference for the environment.
Sequal Initiative
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE is pursuing a dream that we want to make a reality: ridding the oceans of plastic and marine litter. The project is based on the recycling of plastic so that it can be used in the production of a new yarn, the SEAQUAL® YARN.
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE voices an emotion and a commitment to fight plastic pollution and help local communities move towards a circular economy. When we use SEAQUAL® YARN we are helping to clean our oceans.
